HOW TO MAKE AN ARTESAN TANGO SHOES :

The first step in the production of a shoe is the CUT one.  In this stage, pieces, from the selected material, are CUT with different "molds" according to the model (of the shoe).  Each pair of shoes requires approximately 40 pieces that must be properly cut with their respective marks and guides to advance to the following stage.

CUT

Once all the pieces are cut and properly marked, we continue to second stage, denominated APARADO.  In this part of the manufacturing process, the cut pieces are united and are sewn one by one thus finishing in a "CUT", denomination used for the piece finished in this stage.

APARADO

In this third stage, denominated BUILD, the CUT is mounted onto the FORM, after aligning it with the measures you specify for each figure.  The cut is fixed to the form by placing seeds (small nails) one by one until the process is complete.  At the end of this stage, the shoe is ready to be paired with a sole.

BUILD

Following the previous stage, we find ourselves ready to ATTACH THE SOLE.  In this step, the sole of the shoe is attached and can be made from leather or non-skid cromo, (the process is the same).  The sole is manually trimmed to the contour of the FORM and then "devirada" with a machine specially created for this stage.

ATTACHING THE SOLE

The last step is PACKING.  Here the shoe is removed from the form, the heels are attached, to stick the sight sole, the shoes are cleaned, the edges painted, etc.  From this last step, the shoe completes all the stages and leaves in a box ready to be dispatched.
